Ugly Thing but shot in a Beautiful way

I hate snails so much and are gross, smiley, and alien like. But, the way the camera is level to the ground and how the photo was filtered. I think this is a great picture!

1. Who was Alfred Stieglitz and why is he noteworthy in the history of photography?
- Alfred Stieglitz was born on January 1, 1864 and died on July 13, 1946. Also, he supported modern art. What made him noteworthy was, in 1900's he opened art galleries in New York; plus showing European art in the US.
2. Choose a photograph he made, upload it to your blog, and explain why you chose it as your favorite by him.
 - I like how her hands are tense, but her face is calm, and relaxed. (its a girl right?)

3. With what famous painter was he in a relationship? Who was she?  Upload a painting by her that you like.
-Georgia O'Keeffe, who was a art teacher in Texas, and a famous painter.
